Prophetic Evangelism

Street evangelism?  People run when they hear the words street evangelist.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the words, “But I’m not an evangelist.”  Yes, most of us are not born and raised to be evangelist. However, in Timothy it says, “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry,” (2 Tim. 4:5).  Do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.  It doesn’t say do the work of a pastor, prophet or the other offices.  It says, “Do the work of an evangelist.”  Yes, those who are able should do the work of the other offices they are appointed with, but we can all be evangelists.

When I first started being called to the streets it was an act of obedience to the Lord.  As I felt Him leading my team and I to take prophetic love tours where we solely had to rely and trust upon the direction of the Holy Spirit it was a stretch of faith.  Who wouldn’t be stretched getting in a vehicle and being told turn left, turn right, go down that street, and stop at that restaurant to eat, or stop at the rest area when you don’t even have to use the bathroom?  It was a prophetic journey.  However, those prophetic journeys have now turned into love journeys where many lives are changed.

What started out as us being stretched in our faith and coming out of our comfort zone has now been released into people on the streets, in the stores, cashiers, waitresses and people working and shopping being changed and renewed with the love of Jesus.  Let’s face it people aren’t used to other people being nice!  We live in a world where we simply need to be nice, be love and be more.  When we will adjust our thinking to the other person is more important than ourselves we can be nice, be love and be more.

This was not always an easy concept for us to embrace.  We had to change a lot of things we were doing, such as driving to get that parking space first, reaching in to grab something in front of someone else at the store and walking extra fast to get in the restaurant to get the table first before the other people in the parking lot.  Evangelism is being nice, being love and being more in whatever way that looks like.  Our actions sometimes speak louder than words.  However, when our actions reflect the love of Christ and the importance of the other person, it will leave opportunities for our words to speak and witness the love of Christ.

We all have words we want to speak; we choose to speak to others.  The challenge is that we don’t speak them.  In the Bible, it states when they prayed for boldness that God answered their request, (Acts. 4:31).  He will answer yours too when you cry out for it.

Evangelism and love is putting ourselves aside, our agendas and releasing the love and power of God as directed by the Holy Spirit.  It is dependency on the Holy Spirit for Him to direct and lead and guide your path.  When we can trust Him for other things in our lives such as finances, housing, provision, jobs and ministry we need to rely on that same Holy Spirit to give us the words of wisdom to testify in a situation.

There are people who are never going to get in the church until we get outside of the church.  There are so many people waiting and desiring to have a pulpit.  You have a pulpit every day.  You have a voice and a love of God and when you speak out of the love and empowerment of God people will listen and that will be your pulpit, whether you are in a store, sitting for a meal at a restaurant or the Holy Spirit quickens you to go in somewhere because there is someone to speak to.  The Holy Spirit will highlight the person and unction your spirit to approach them.  Be obedient, listen to His unction, have faith and release the blessing of words He has given you to speak into a person’s life and do the work of an evangelist!

As my team and I have gone out in obedience we have been the one’s changed.  Learning to love those who are less desirable to the world or that people could criticize and judge.  We have learned through walking the streets of Vegas and loving on show girls they are just trying to make a living.  We have learned through loving on a transvestite that He is just a person trying to make people laugh.  As we have walked the streets loving on people we have learned that every homeless person has a story, that their families kicked them out, medical bills piled up, trauma attacked them after a war, the stock market crashed, retirement pensions haven’t taken in effect yet.  We have learned homeless people want someone to talk to, to not just put money in their jars, but people to invest in them and see the value they contain.  Every person has value, because every person is a son or daughter of God.

Through each prophetic love tour and evangelism journey we go on we teach and educate people on social media to do the same, to reach out, be nice, be love and be more.  It is not enough for us to simply make a difference.  We desire to teach other people that what we do they can do also.  What we were hesitant and felt unequipped to do they can do.  We are equipped when we have the Holy Spirit inside of us.

We were created to love God and love people, to serve God and serve people.  When we connect with God vertically and allow Him to pour in us from above it is then and only then that we can pour out horizontally to people with the love, power, passion and compassion of Christ.  People need God.  People need people.  You are the God people need.  Some may never think they can hear from God, but when you approach them with the love of God or a prophetic word from God they cannot deny a God exists.

Get past yourself, the inadequacies, the unfamiliarity’s of evangelism.   It is uncomfortable at first.  It does take a step of faith, but through Him and in Him all things are possible to those who believe, (Mark 9:23).  Are you going to believe the lie of the devil that you can’t do it or that you aren’t equipped or are you going to lean on and stand upon what the word of God says, that all things are possible to those who believe?

Worship ushers you into new realms in the Spirit

I am a worshiper!  I love to worship!  I love how the songs can penetrate the atmosphere and lead you into the atmosphere of heaven.  How when we worship heaven truly comes down upon us and we are intertwined with the Spirit of the living God.  The songs we sing in worship are powerful!  When we are singing those songs we are claiming, decreeing and crying out to God for more.  But do you truly know what you are singing?

Two years ago I was singing Fling Wide by Misty Edwards.  The chorus:

Take me through the fire

 Take me through the rain

 Take me through the testing

 I’ll do anything

Test me try me prove me refine me

 Like to gold

Like to gold.

I was just about to embark on an 11 day prophetic journey where the Lord was not telling me where exactly I was going, but to drive to the right or left and end up here and there.  A few days before the journey when He saw my faith was activated He started releasing some plans for the trip; others came by faith.

I remember several Sunday’s being in church and they just happened to be leading us in this song in worship.  I would sing with everything in me, this song of declaration.  I would sing it from the core of my inner being, as a prayer and as a declaration.  Since thing I have gone on over 7 prophetic journeys where I get in the van and drive for days not knowing where I would end up.

This first journey led me to Lookout Mountain in Tennessee where I would blow the shofar over several states declaring them for the Lord; now North Carolina is a state I regularly minister and I see Him opening other states that we decreed over.

As I was pondering the other day and looking at pictures He has had me go to several states to simply claim, command, decree and declare over the state and government.  That the spiritual atmosphere would be broken up that is causing things to be delayed and detoured in that region and to release an impartation over that land for revival and the Kingdom of God.

Recently, there is another song I am attracted to.  Oceans by Hillsong, the verse that gets me is,

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the waters

Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander

And my faith will be made stronger

In the presence of my Savior

Once again, I find myself drawn to this song, and this chorus.  What the future will hold, I do not know.  I do know the testing, the trials, the faith building, the brokenness He calls us to go through is much worth it.  I want to trust like none other, I want to have obedient radical faith to go wherever He would call me.  I have seen my faith be made stronger, and I want it to be rock solid, unshakeable.

I know I am a different person and I want to keep changing for His glory, to be more like Him.  So as I walk another journey leading me to walk upon His waters and where my trust is without borders; I will embrace whatever He takes me through to lead me there, because as His Spirit led Jesus out into the desert, His Spirit too will lead me where my trust is without borders.  Lead me God; lead me!

IT’S ALL ABOUT HIM; IT’S NOT ABOUT ME

As I sit meditating in prayer this morning the revelation came to me…WHEN HAVE WE STOPPED HELPING PEOPLE???  I am specifically thinking about helping other ministries advance.  Aren’t we supposed to all work together and unite for the Kingdom of God?  When did it become all about us and “our ministry?”  Our ministry isn’t our ministry it is God’s ministry for the people of God.  Our ministry is about any calling the Lord has bestowed upon us.  Aren’t we supposed to be helping others advance?

In the church today there is much competition and jealousy.  Pastors and church leaders don’t want to invite prophetic and evangelistic ministries out to speak in fear of them “stealing their people and their money.”  It isn’t their people or their money, they are God’s people and God’s money.  How are evangelistic ministries going to “steal” these people anyways, most of the time they are from another state or region?  They are simple coming in to enhance the church, deliver a word and assist the pastor.

We need to step back and say, “If I promote others, God will promote me.”  “If I sow financially into good ground and good soil, God will sow into me.”  “If I am more concerned about other’s than myself, God will bless me.”  The righteousness of Christ within us is helping and assisting others in any way we can.

In the day of social media we can assist others by sharing their facebook posts and not concerning ourselves that someone got another like or friend request.  We can be a pulpit for ourselves and others.  The question is will we lay aside selfishness and do so.  When did it become all about us?

If we are called to make disciples and we are, then we need to be about advancing anyone who comes in our path.  If we want to be about the Father’s business than we need to do His business without being selfish.

In the day and age of facebook and social media we have the perfect opportunity to promote and exalt other ministries. Aren’t we supposed to be about the Father’s business and making sure people get the word of God, new teaching and revelation? Why are we intimidated by sharing status’, tweets and other information? If we are truly about the Father’s business it is not about our ministry because our ministry is His ministry and the people’s ministry.

It is about getting the Kingdom of God advanced in any means possible and not being self seeking and self exalting in the process. It is about establishing people to be greater than yourselves. You can make a difference on the internet, on your wall in your retweets.

So therefore share what you can and advance the Kingdom anyway you can…time is short and people need to hear the truth of God’s word without selfishness involved. This truly is a word of the Lord for the people of God this morning. Advance the Kingdom by advancing others. It doesn’t matter who spreads the gospel as long as it gets spread.

Clarity of Mind

Jesus is the deliverer of every ailment including, #bi-polar, #depression, schzophrenia, #autism, mental retardation, down syndrome. Any seducing mind binding spirits that are tormenting you must go…Read on and see the proof!!! You can too be in your right mind!

When we look at the story in Mark 5 about the man of Gadarenes, this man was demon filled. He had many spirits as you study out the scripture in Mark. I would like to point out some of the following and encourage you to read the entire chapter. In verse 5, it says, “And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.” Crying out is referred to as torment. This man was tormented in his mind. A demon in verse 7 actually talks through this man’s voice. “And he cried out with a loud voice and said, ‘What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by #God that You do not torment me.’” Here the demon acknowledged torment. He was referring to Jesus coming to torment him by casting the demon out, but the man also was familiar with torment from having the demons within him. In verse 8, Jesus cast the demons out by saying, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit.” First of all I want you to recognize that Jesus cast the demon out. The word here is out. He cast it out. When you also study the context of this verse in the Greek, Jesus had to repeatedly order these demons out. After He cast them out He ask him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many,” (Mark 5:9). Many and repeatedly ordering indicates that these were strongman that did not want to come out easily. Further in the story in Mark 5:15 we hear the final victory of this man. “Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been #demon possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed in his right mind.” Praise God! The man was now delivered and in his right mind. See the evidence! See the proof! People can and will be delivered from mind binding spirits! People can be healed and delivered from mind ailments! #deliverance

Christians as Eagles

This was a recent prophetic insight the Lord gave me for the body of Christ.

As I was worshipping what the Lord showed me is eagles, and you know eagles represent mature Christians.  Eagles they fly together, they fly together, but eagles also fly alone.  Eagles also fly alone and you have to find other eagles to fly with.  What the Lord was showing me  was us flying in the air, in our regions.  The Lord was also showing me us departing into other parts of the United States.

He showed me the sphere of us flying together, but then us also going here and going there and going there and going there as it says what, the whole earth is filled, the whole world is filled with His glory.  Because why, because we are going to be carriers to different regions.  It is about us empowering people into that mature Christian walk, into that place of deep discipleship.  But then it is about us sending them out, sending them out into different regions.  It is about US going into different places; God will send us into different places to bring His word.  As representation of Christ He will us.

Each one of us will be called to dispatch and go into a different regions and carry what we have out into the world.

And what the Lord said to me is, He said “don’t you know your destinies, don’t you know your callings, don’t you know your values? Get rid of the insecurity, get rid of the pride, get rid of the intimidation, get rid of everything you think won’t happen because of this, because of circumstances, because of situations.” That’s what He’s saying; He’s saying get rid of that because my word says with God ALL things are possible-ALL things are possible Philippians 4:13.  So with God all things are possible cause why, cause Christ strengthens us. It’s Christ’s hope of glory that’s in us.

So what He really wants to impart into you this morning is, He says don’t you know how great your calling is? Don’t you know how great? Are you willing to accept the assignment that I have laid upon you? Are you willing to accept that helmet of salvation, those breastplates of righteousness, those shields of faith, the gospel of peace, the shoes of peace, the belt of truth, the sword of the Spirit; are you willing to accept them? Cause I have clothed you with my garments says the Lord, I have clothed you.

He says you have to accept the strength of the calling that I have put on your life because you are a unique remnant of eagles and those eagles are here to fly together but there will be a time when those eagles are dispatching through the whole earth, through the whole earth you, through the whole earth. We have a high calling, we have a big mandate and this is preparation and the first place that we need to be prepped is in our hearts.  It’s in our hearts, not in our heads, it’s in our heart.  Not so we can know it so we can feel it, so we can believe it, so we can receive it. The whole earth is going to be filled with His glory and we are going to impact different regions, different places of that whole earth.  We are empowering people but first we need to empower ourselves, we need to empower, we need to feel the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. That true empowerment permeating every part of us, every area of us so that nothing is untouchable and nothing is unreachable in the kingdom of God for His will, His plans and His purposes.

So we seal that in and we call forth in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
